The Lord Jesus Is With
Us. He Is Building His Church.
It's hard to believe that there's just over a month left before we will be
gathering at our building in Woodinville every Sunday for our worship
gatherings. Will you be praying with me about this? Sure, there are still
lots of projects that need to get done, and leaders who need to be identified
and empowered. But instead of focusing on those things, I would ask that you
would take this last month to pray for 2 specific things:
#1. Your heart
I want you to pray that your heart would be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and
ready for this new adventure of church planting. It's going to be new and
different. We are empowering leaders who haven't necessarily had a lot of
experience in areas they are leading. And things may be a little rusty right
off the bat. However, I cannnot be more excited about the people who are
becoming the church at Imprint Church. So many of you have already poured out
blood, sweat, and tears into the work of ministry at Imprint and I am so
thankful. But as I've had to remind myself this week, don't let the work of God you're
doing take the place of the work God wants to do in you.
Scripture says in Proverbs 4:23 “Above all else, guard your heart, for
everything you do flows from it.” So diligently pray that God would do a new
work in your heart each day and prepare you for what He has in store for you.
#2. The hearts of
those who will attend Imprint Church
We are not planting Imprint Church only for ourselves. We are asking the Lord
to build the church with people who do not yet know Him. New churches attract
new people. And while we can do a great job in welcoming them, presenting
Christ, and wanting others to experience Him, it's the Lord who will do a
work of the heart in individuals. So begin praying for people who will attend
- that their hearts would engage with Jesus Christ.
I'm convinced if we pray for these things God will do a miracle. And isn't
that what we need as we begin a new church?
With gratitude in Christ,
Pastor Darren Larson

An Important UPDATE for
Financial Giving to Imprint Church
from Forrest Miller, Treasurer
If you have not started giving your tithe to Imprint Church, please consider
transferring your tithe to Imprint Church as soon as possible. On July 1,
Northshore Baptist approved any tithes to go to Imprint instead of
Northshore. So if you are part of the core or launch team and you wrote a
check to Northshore and did not indicate 'Imprint Church' in the memo line,
and you intended for it to go to Imprint, please contact Dennis Stanley and the Finance Department at Northshore in written
communication with check numbers and check amounts no later than September 5, 2012.
Let him know that you are part of the team going with Imprint Church and you
want to have those monies transferred to Imprint. That would help us a lot.
It really does need to be done by September 5, or that money will not make it
to Imprint Church.
What is the best to give your tithe to Imprint Church? Currently, the
best way is to write checks directly to Imprint Church and mail them to the
following address:
Imprint Church
P.O. Box 907
Woodinville, WA 98072
For those who have been writing checks to Imprint Church and putting them in
the Northshore offering or if you have writing checks to Northshore with
Imprint Church in the memo line, please make the change to writing your check
directly to Imprint Church and sending it to our P.O. Box in Woodinville
listed above. However, on September 9th when Imprint Church begins Gatherings
at Northshore, and when we start meeting in our own building, you will have
the option to give to Imprint Church during the Worship Gathering or you could
still mail your checks written out to Imprint Church to the Woodinville P.O.
Box.
A number of people have requested a way to electronically give their tithe to
Imprint Church. We are exploring the options to make this happen an
